I went to American Girl Place Chicago in 2004, when all the Samantha movie hoopla was going on. It was my first time there, and I had gone in fully intending to buy Addy and some of her outfits....but I left with Samantha and some of her outfits instead. Just goes to show you what marketing will do to you. :) Not that I'm complaining AT ALL.
